It's a Xiaomi RGB keyboard with a hybrid setup with a TTC Red mechanical switch on top of a membrane. I bought one of these Frankenstein keyboards during 11.11: This will be a big change, hopefully for the better. I've never used mechanical keyboards, always used whatever came with a pre-built or laptop. My computer is in the basement so the clickety clack will be confined to a barren wasteland with nobody in it. I'd say it's a winner for $40, provided that you and your family can accept the clickety-click.

It is louder than the Corsair Strafe that I use at work. The keyboard is noticeably loud, as expected, but I use it in a room where I am alone. I can touch-type very accurately with it. There is almost no bezel, so some space is saved on my desk compared to the Logitech K530 (about 107 keys) that it replaces. I like the utilitarian design of the keyboard.
